With the crisis in Ukraine, and the floods in Queensland and New South Wales, this has been an incredibly difficult week. But, a group of Melbourne businesses are joining forces, and putting together a fundraiser this weekend to raise money for those who need it most. Head to 1800 Lasagne in Thornbury this Sunday, for a bustling marketplace, filled with sausage sizzles, ice cream, local produce and more. This fundraiser, 1800 Relief, will take place on Sunday March 6, from 10am to 3pm.
1800 Relief
Channel all your energy into this fundraising event, and help raise money for humanitarian aid in Ukraine, and relief for those affected by the floods. Many local businesses around the community are contributing what they can to this event, so there’s plenty of delicious food to try and things to buy.
There will be a sausage sizzle by Fitzroy Feast, an ice cream van from Icecream Social, and pizza by Carmelo’s.
Inside the produce market, you’ll find items such as:
- Fresh bread from All Are Welcome
- Fresh produce from Melbourne Farmers Markets and Northside Fruit and Veg
- Coffee from Everyday Coffee
- Olive oil from Mount Zero
- Wine by Six Parallels South, Blackhearts & Sparrows, and Imbibo
- Dog food from Scratch Health Dog Food
- Cakes by Mali Bakes
- Biscotti by L’anima Cucina
- Hot Sauce by Ultra Culture Community
- Spices from Gewürzhaus
