Feast your eyes, and your taste buds, on some of Victoria’s best young chefs, in this special 30 Under 30 event series by Melbourne Food & Wine Festival. 30 chefs from some of the best eateries around Victoria will cook up a storm, starting with a special Gala Dinner in July, followed by more intimate events in August. This event series will showcase some of the best culinary talent that Victoria has to offer, as well as celebrate the 30th anniversary of Melbourne Food & Wine Festival. Tickets for these unforgettable experiences are on sale now.
30 Under 30 Gala Dinner
For one night only, talented young chefs from around the state will cook up a feast at the Plaza Ballroom. Taste 30 delicious dishes in this spectacular Gala Dinner. This celebration will bring together chefs from notable restaurants around Melbourne, including Vue de Monde, Attica, Provenance and more.
Just because there’s 30 chefs, doesn’t mean that there’ll be 30 massive courses to sit through. Instead, the first ten dishes will be served cocktail party-style, with tray service and from stations around the room. Then, the main courses will be served on the table to share, family-style. After that, dessert will be served across the table to share, and from around the room.
Meanwhile, drinks for the night are included, and were chosen in consultation with a panel of under-30 Victorian sommeliers and bar managers. Expect matched drinks throughout the night, and cocktails to finish.
This Gala Dinner will take place on Thursday July 28, and set you back $250.
