Make your way to Alcotraz, an experience that simulates a prohibition-era speakeasy inside a prison. Inspired by Hollywood’s most iconic prison tales, Alcotraz offers a unique interactive experience. On arrival, you’ll need to put on the provided orange jumpsuit and familiarise yourself with your new identity and backstory.
As an inmate, you’ll be taken into an exciting world of mischief as you are instructed by a notorious bootlegging gang on the inside to exchange your contraband for liquor. During the experience you’ll get to interact with actors playing the roles of guards and inmates, creating a clandestine atmosphere reminiscent of the 1920s. Once you’ve executed your cunning plans, the mixologists on duty will create up to four cocktails tailored to you, according to your tastes.
Alcotraz Halloween special
For Halloween, Alcotraz is taking a darker turn with a special edition of the experience running from October 10th to November 1st. Something has gone seriously wrong behind the prison walls, after a mysterious cargo container washes ashore during a storm and an unknown substance makes its way into the facility. Before long, inmates begin falling ill with strange symptoms, while the guards scramble to keep the situation under control (or at least make it look that way). As the prison becomes increasingly isolated from the outside world, you’ll find yourself caught in the middle of an unsettling outbreak, with suspicious behaviour, eerie discoveries and plenty of questions about what’s really happening inside Alcotraz.
