The lovely Lorne Sea Baths is about to get an upgrade, and transform into a premium wellness destination. Holidaymakers flocking to the coastal town for its beaches and scenic walks will soon be able to pause and unwind, with Wildsoul Wellness opening a new venue at the refreshed precinct. Look forward to outdoor contrast therapy, magnesium pools, red light therapy, mat Pilates and a gym, as well as a full calendar of wellness events and retreats throughout the year. Wildsoul Wellness is set to open at Lorne Sea Baths in January 2027.

Wildsoul Wellness at Lorne Sea Baths
The very first sea baths in Lorne were made in the 1880s, and were destroyed by easterly gales only a few years later. Over the years, the precinct grew to include recreational activities for all ages, with a pool, mini golf, cafe and more. Now, it’s getting a massive upgrade, supported by a grant of almost $500,000 from the Victorian government.

The redevelopment will include infrastructure upgrades, such as improved boardwalk connections, refurbished customer service areas, additional private bathing options, solar panels and a new gym.
The Wildsoul Wellness space will be inspired by a luxury beach club, combined with a wellness sanctuary. Look forward to community magnesium pools and outdoor contrast therapy spaces, featuring hot and cold plunges, as well as traditional steam saunas. Private contrast therapy spaces, suitable for groups of up to four, will also be available, and feature hot and cold plunges, saunas, showers and change areas.

An outdoor deck will surround the familiar lap pool, with a grassy area for you to take in your surroundings. Inside, you’ll find two red light therapy pods, as well as a mat Pilates studio.
Throughout the year, take part in events like sunrise Pilates on the foreshore, full moon sauna nights, sound bath evenings, community cold plunge challenges and activities for the school holidays.
“Our goal was to create a full-spectrum wellness destination and experience where locals can become regulars, visitors can enjoy a unique experience, families can enjoy a chilled day out, and athletes can recover,” said Wildsoul Wellness co-founder David Altamura. “The community is active, the visitors are ready, and there’s nothing like this on the Surf Coast. We can’t wait to open the doors.”

Memberships and booking details will be announced ahead of the launch. In the meantime, you can visit Wildsoul Wellness in Mordialloc, Moorabbin, Cheltenham, Hampton, Coburg, Williamstown and Fairfield.
You can keep up with all the latest project updates here. Wildsoul Wellness is set to open in January 2027, but other aspects of Lorne Sea Baths, like the outdoor pool and aqua roller, should return in December, just in time for summer. Learn more about Lorne Sea Baths here.
