Australia’s biggest barbecue and music festival is turning up the volume in 2027, with Meatstock Gippsland announcing its biggest music lineup yet—and two of country music’s hottest names are flying in from the US to headline.
Country stars Gavin Adcock and Nate Smith will lead the bill at Lardner Park on 5th–6th March 2027, joined by Australian country royalty including Kasey Chambers, Casey Barnes and a new generation of artists making waves across the country and roots scene.
Gavin Adcock and Nate Smith are coming to Gippsland

Adcock arrives in Australia after a breakout run that has seen him rack up more than 1.5 billion global streams. His album Own Worst Enemy reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 Country Chart, and he heads into 2027 fresh from supporting Morgan Wallen on the road.
Nate Smith brings equally impressive numbers. His breakout hit World On Fire spent 10 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, a feat achieved only by Smith and Morgan Wallen.
His debut single has also gone Platinum, while his career streams have passed the billion mark. Together, the pair bring a distinctly American country edge to Meatstock Gippsland, with a lineup that then swings back towards some of Australia’s biggest country names.
Kasey Chambers leads the Australian lineup

Taking top billing for the Australian contingent is Kasey Chambers, one of the country’s most recognisable and enduring music icons. The ARIA Hall of Famer will headline a lineup that brings together established Australian country artists with some of the genre’s most promising emerging voices.
Also joining Chambers are Casey Barnes, Wade Forster, Bella Mackenzie, Imogen Clark, Sarah Grace Buckley, Piper Butcher, Dear Tommie and Cholson.

Barnes heads to Lardner Park after writing and releasing Made for This, the official theme song for the Nine Network’s entire 2026 NRL season. Forster arrives after selling out 15 of 17 shows on his most recent US run and taking home the Toyota Star Maker award.
The lineup also puts a strong spotlight on the next generation of Australian female country and roots artists, with Mackenzie, Clark, Buckley, Butcher and Dear Tommie among the women bringing fresh voices to the festival.
The Smith & Western Jury will perform an exclusive set following the release of their debut album Hotel Texas, while Dingo—the guitarist behind Kasey Chambers’ own band—will step out under his own name.
