Christmas Festival of Lights at Adventure Park
Journey along the shimmering pathways, and discover 1000 glowing light installations. Walk underneath a towering, 8 metre snowman, admire 4 metre Nutcracker soldiers and stroll down a sparkling 35-metre-long tunnel. Go through a winter wonderland and feel the chill of the North Pole in a glimmering space filled with penguins, polar bears and more. Walk underneath a shining Christmas present, enter a giant bauble, gaze in wonder at a Christmas tree and much, much more.
According to Leanne Salmon, Adventure Park Managing Director, this is the park’s biggest Christmas display yet. “Adventure Park Geelong’s Christmas Festival of Lights really is the perfect festive activity for the entire family,” she said. “And better yet, we’ll be offering free entry for any child under 90 cm tall.”
There’s plenty of Christmas entertainment and activities to enjoy. Enter Santa’s Village and grab a photo with the big man himself. Visit the Elves Workshop and write a letter to Santa. Have fun with some Christmas crafts and make a bauble to take home. Get your face painted for an extra dose of fun.
Of course, there’s a stack of rides to try out too. Fly in the new Air Balloons ride, and soar up into the sky for a view of the glowing park below. The Tea Cups, Crazy Coaster, Carousel, Red Baron, Little Buggy Speedway Cars, Wave Swinger, Ferris Wheel and Mini-Golf will also be available to try. Water rides will not be operational during the Christmas festival.
See Santa’s helpers Jingle & Bells perform circus acrobatics, juggling, comedy and more every night. There will also be live Christmas carols to listen to on Fridays and Saturdays.
Adults can sip on Christmas-themed cocktails, and enjoy bites to eat from food pop-ups and vans.
