Adventure Park in Geelong is lighting up this festive season for the stunning Christmas Festival of Lights. Bask in the glow of 3.3 million lights, and wander down enchanting trails and glittering bridges in this 50-acre wonderland. On top of the glistening lights, there’s plenty of Christmas activities and entertainment for the family, including a brand new drone show! This special Christmas Festival at Adventure Park will run from November 16 to January 25.
Christmas Festival of Lights at Adventure Park
Journey along the shimmering pathways, and discover over 1000 glowing light installations. There’s heaps of dazzling new displays for you to immerse yourself in, including a Space Odyssey installation featuring a 12-metre-long rocket ship, and a hot air balloons light installation. You can also expect winter wonderlands, animal displays, giant toys, sparkling tunnels and glittering bridges.
For even more dreamy lights, turn your eyes to the skies and gaze at a spectacular new drone show. Up to 500 drones will soar through the sky with awesome animation displays. The Christmas in the Sky drone light show will run for just 24 nights.
There’s plenty of Christmas entertainment and activities to enjoy. Enter Santa’s Village and feel delighted by a musical walk-through show, complete with singing Christmas characters like polar beers, reindeer and even a magic tree. Then, head to the North Pole and post letters to Santa, and finally, grab a photo with the big man himself.
Of course, there’s a stack of rides to try out too. Fly in the Air Balloons ride, and soar up into the sky for a view of the glowing park below. The Tea Cups, Crazy Coaster, Red Baron, Little Buggy Speedway, Ferris Wheel and Mini-Golf will also be available to try. Water rides will not be operational during the Christmas festival.
For an extra dose of fun, kids can get their face painted into delightful Christmas characters.
Festival dates:
- November 16 to December 24, from 6pm to 10:30pm
- December 26 to January 25, from 6:45pm to 10:30pm
There will also be a low sensory afternoon from 4pm to 6pm on November 16.
