There’s no time to hibernate this winter – Adventure Park Geelong is bringing the return of the magical Winter Glow Festival these July school holidays, running from June 28 to August 9. The immersive festival combines snow, fire, lights and ice to create a winter wonderland like no other, with enough guaranteed snow to build a snowman and make a snow angel in.
This year, the festival is promising to be bigger and better than ever before, with the equivalent of 100 large tip trucks of snow set to blanket the park. A good time is guaranteed for the whole family, with two separate snow play zones being set up this year – one for under 5 year olds and one for all ages. New for this year is the snowball throw zone, where kids can take aim at their parents from behind a specially designed wall.

Visitors will also get to dazzle in the twinkling light installations dotted around Adventure Park, with over 3.3 million lights making up over 1000 light installations. A magical 2.5km accessible lights trail runs right through the park, taking you on a journey of enchanting trails, glistening paths and magical glittering bridges.
The fun doesn’t stop there though – the ticket price includes unlimited theme park rides for all tastes and thrill levels. Take in the spectacular views of the park from the ferris wheel, go for a ride on the carousel or take a seat on the crazy coaster for some thrill-seeking fun.

There are also live performances running each night, so make sure you take some time to stop by. Performers from Cirque Mystique are lighting up the night with fire-twirling shows twice a night. Then, cool off with the team from Down Under Ice Designs, who are hand-carving intricate works of art from solid blocks of ice.
Of course, there is plenty of warm food and drink on offer to keep you going throughout the night, from pizza and burgers to hot chocolate and fairy floss. And don’t forget to stop into the cookie decorated igloo, where you can decorate your own snowman cookies. Of course, it wouldn’t be a winter festival without mulled wine and spiced apple cider – and this year, spiked hot chocolate is also on offer.
Dress warmly and get ready for a magical evening in Adventure Park’s very own winter wonderland, located just a 90 minute drive away from Melbourne.
Winter Glow at Adventure Park will be open from June 28 to August 9 and runs every night of the school holidays (July 5 to July 20).
