Adventure Park is bringing back their dazzling Winter Glow festival this year. Escape to their delightful winter wonderland, and frolic in the snow, go on the rides, and marvel at the fire twirling and ice sculpting displays. Feel mesmerised by the twinkle of over 3 million lights across a thousand glittering installations dotted around the park. There’s also plenty of fun activities to do and food to try. Winter Glow will kick off at Adventure Park on June 22, and run on select days until July 21.
Winter Glow at Adventure Park
The festival this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. Feel whisked away to a winter wonderland, and frolic in the largest snow play zone outside of Victoria’s ski resorts. There’s a huge area for people of all ages, and a junior area for little ones under 5.
Have fun on eight theme park rides, including the popular Tea Cups and Air Balloons. As you journey around the park, admire the sparkle of over a thousand colourful installations, including a psychedelic tunnel, a light maze and an enchanted fairy garden.
After that, warm up by seeing spectacular performers from Cirque Mystique light up the night with their fire-twirling show. Then, cool down and check out glistening ice sculptures from local artist Glenn Smith and his team from Down Under Ice Designs.
Other fabulous activities include mini-golf, face-painting, cookie decorating and roasting marshmallows over a roaring open fire.
Remember to swing by the Hot Chocolate Heaven Igloo for some decadent loaded hot chocolates, topped with Tim Tams, marshmallows, sprinkles, fairy floss, chocolate bars and more.
Keep the magic going with some glowing fairy floss, and warm up with favourites like burgers, hot dogs and churros.
Of course, warm clothing is recommended.
Winter Glow at Adventure Park will open from 3:30pm to 8:30pm.
