Earlier this year, a small town in Victoria was transformed into a set for a Liam Neeson film. Just a few months ago, the streets of Melbourne served as a backdrop for a K-pop music video. And soon, a new and thrilling TV series will be filmed in Docklands and around the city. This suburban thriller, All Her Fault, will feature Australian actress Sarah Snook (Succession) in the lead role.
All Her Fault in Melbourne
This TV series will be adapted from the bestselling novel of the same name by Andrea Mara. It opens with Marissa Irvine, who’s expecting to pick up her son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school. But, the woman who answers the door isn’t someone she recognises. And she doesn’t have Milo. This kicks off every parent’s worst nightmare.
The Emmy and two-time Golden Globe winning actress, Sarah Snook, will star as Marissa. She will also executive produce the series. Joining her in the cast are Dakota Fanning (Ripley), Jake Lacy (White Lotus), Abby Elliott (The Bear), Sophie Lillis (It) and Michael Peña (Unstoppable).
“I feel so excited about being able to work in Melbourne again,” said Sarah Snook. “The industry we have here, across all departments of cast and crew, is world class. There’s always a can-do attitude, and I’m particularly impressed with the sustainability efforts our team on All Her Fault are making; showing we can lower our environmental impact without compromising on quality.”
The award-winning director Minkie Spiro (3 Body Problem, Downtown Abbey) will direct the first episode and executive produce. All Her Fault is produced by Carnival Films, which is part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group.
It will be filmed at Docklands Studios and on location around Melbourne. Filming starts later this month. Learn more here.
