It’s been a great year of free gigs at Fed Square, with performances by Robbie Williams, Kneecap, Glass Beams, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, and most recently, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. And the party’s not over yet. Swing by Fed Square on Friday November 14 for a free and exhilarating performance from Amyl and the Sniffers. The rock band will take over Fed Square in celebration of AC/DC’s POWER UP tour. The night will kick off at 7:30pm and end at 9:30pm.

Amyl and the Sniffers at Fed Square
Hailing from Melbourne, Amyl and the Sniffers progressed from roommates to bandmates in 2016. Featuring Amy Taylor on vocals, Bryce Wilson on drums, Dec Mehrtens on guitar and Gus Romer on bass, they’ve quickly become one of Australia’s most successful rock exports. They’ve had sold-out tours across the US, UK, Europe and South America, and taken over festival stages like Glastonbury and Coachella. And now, they’re performing as special guests with AC/DC on their POWER UP Australian tour.
See Amyl and the Sniffers for free for one night only, and experience the raw energy and breakneck riffs of this explosive Aussie group.
They will be joined on stage by opening act, Public Figures, a pop-rock group who will fire up the crowd with a mix of AC/DC’s greatest hits and heart-pounding originals.
Meanwhile, AC/DC will be performing at the MCG in Melbourne on Wednesday November 12 and Sunday November 16.
