Escape to the iconic Peninsula Hot Springs for a wellness weekend this April. In this immersive festival experience, you’ll enjoy the geothermal mineral pools of the springs, as well as take part in workshops, listen to live music, enjoy a bit of yoga and more. Awaken Festival will run on Saturday April 2 and Sunday April 3.
Take some time out for yourself this April and unwind at Awaken Festival. Soak in the mineral-rich waters, then relax in the saunas, steam rooms and wellness zones around the Peninsula Hot Springs. Wander the immaculate gardens, and stumble upon some workshops along the way.
Current musicians on the line-up include Mama Kin Spender, Didirri, Kyle Lionhart, Garrett Kato and more. On both days of the festival, the music will start at 12pm. It will end at 10pm on Saturday and 11pm on Sunday.
Yoga sessions will be run by teachers like Simon Borg-Olivier, Tahl Rinsky, William Wong and Gwyn Williams. There will also be live-streamed sessions from notable presenters like Dr Bruce Lipton, and Deva Premal & Miten.
Other festival highlights include a Wellness Dome Village, Aboriginal wisdom teachings, workshops, sound healing, a massage zone, spa treatments and more.
As this festival will take place in Peninsula Hot Springs, you’re encouraged to wear modest swimsuits to enjoy the bathing areas. You’re also advised to bring a face mask, appropriate footwear, a water bottle, a towel, and comfortable clothing to wear between bathing. Towels and robes are available to hire on the day.
There are a number of cafés to try on-site that focus on local, organic produce and healthy living. On top of that, food trucks will be brought in just for this festival.

Cost: Day tickets cost $250, and weekend passes cost $400. Other experiences at the hot springs, like glamping on-site, can be purchased for an additional cost.
