Who is Banksy?
Banksy, the elusive British street artist, has continuously captivated the art world with his thought-provoking works and political activism. He is best known for his simple but iconic imagery of rats and policemen, which he spray painted on the side of buildings around Bristol in the early 1990s. By the mid-2000s, Banksy was becoming a household name, with his work popping up in cities all over the world. To this day, what continuously draws people to Banksy, is that while his work has achieved worldwide fame, his identity remains a mystery.
