Slow down, slow down, Bluebonnet’s Bottomless BBQ is now permanent.
The bottomless feast of smoked meats at Bluebonnet’s in Brunswick East has become so popular that the restaurant has figured that the two-hour, all-you-can-eat session should now be a permanent fixture. That means American-style barbeque week in, week out. (Featured image: bluebonnetbbq)
Running every Tuesday and Wednesday from 5pm, meat lovers will be able to dine on head chef Chris Terlikar’s signature Texan-style barbeque where, once they sit down, they’ll be brought a tray with two meats and a side. To get more, all diners need to do is eat up and polish off the tray. Then, exhale and repeat.
The kitchen staff will keep bringing out more meats and sides until your two hours are up, so expect to tuck into Wagyu beef brisket, pulled lamb shoulder, bourbon-glazed pork ribs and Cape Grim pastrami as well as smoked lamb ribs. Sides include nashi pear-and-kohlrabi slaw, smoked mash potato and crinkle-cut chips.
To drink, there are six Aussie beers on tap as well as wines, cocktails, picklebacks and boilermakers to help wash down all those cuts of meat.
Bluebonnet’s Bottomless BBQ will set you back $65 per person. To get in on the action, you’ll need to book in by calling ahead on 9972 1815.
