After opening in Malvern East just last year, Breadcetera has just launched their second outpost. This time, they’ve set up in Mount Eliza, bringing the neighbourhood market to the Mornington Peninsula. Pop into this bright shop, and grab fresh bread, tasty coffee, ready-to-go meals and other goodies. Breadcetera in Mount Eliza is open every day, from 7:30am to 4pm.

If you’ve never been, this neighbourhood spot offers more than just bread. Inside, you’ll find local produce, kitchen and home essentials, seasonal flowers, pantry staples and more.
“Breadcetera has always been about the everyday things done properly,” said co-owner Anthony Silvestre. “Good bread, great coffee and food you actually want to eat during the week. Mount Eliza felt like a natural place to extend that idea.”
The new store is led by local resident, Natalie Osborne. “Living in Mount Eliza, it always felt like there was room for a local market that was thoughtful, well-curated and easy to rely on,” she said. “Somewhere you could stop in regularly and always find something good.”
There are some similarities to the Malvern venue, with bread sourced from Blanc Bakery and Austro Bakery, and coffee from Allpress. But, you’ll also find plenty of Mornington Peninsula suppliers, including locally-grown produce from Tuerong Farm.
Fresh sandwiches and paninis are made each morning, and there’s plenty of seasonal salads if you’re after something lighter. On the shelves, you’ll find pantry staples like olive oil, honey and dips. If you don’t feel like cooking, you’ll find take-home meals like pastas and pies, as well as desserts like tiramisu.
Brighten up your day with some seasonal flowers from florist, Your Flower Fix, or pamper somebody you love with a curated hamper packed with thoughtful gifts.
When you’re not looking at the food or drink, consider the retail offerings, like aprons from local brand House of Rocco, sculptural resin designs from Dinosaur Designs or interesting pieces from Maison Balzac.
