The Brunswick Music Festival turns sweet sixteen this year.
At sixteen, the Brunswick Music Festival is Melbourne’s longest-running music festival but this year’s celebrations have been crammed into ten jam-packed days. Nonetheless, the community-focused event is pulling no punches and will feature some of the best local talent the inner-north has to offer at 21 venues across the entire suburb. Aside from the community feeling and all the cultural offerings, our favourite part of the Brunswick Music Festival is the massive number of gigs that are free to go see. And though it will be quite impossible to catch them all, here are ten gigs that have caught our eye, one gig for each day of the festival except for Wednesday.
