The Candlelight series has covered countless music genres, including jazz, soul, rock, pop, and R&B, and continues adding to its repertoire. You can expect to be enchanted by Candlelight concerts in Geelong featuring tributes to the likes of Queen.
Geelong West Town Hall is set to host unique performances celebrating not only Queen’s anthemic hits, but also recreating popular sci-fi soundtracks. Immerse yourself in a classical performance bathed in the glow of hundreds of flickering candles as Candlelight kickstarts its season in Geelong.
Candlelight at Geelong West Town Hall
The Candlelight series is coming to the striking Geelong West Town Hall this season. With two contemporary hire spaces, this popular events venue hosts concerts, exhibitions, multicultural and other community groups. Some of its excellent facilities include a commercial kitchen, stage, and servery bar area. You can do a spot of shopping before your concert as the Town Hall is located along the Pakington Street shopping strip!
A talented string quartet will take to the stage to rock you with a sensational show inspired by the legendary band Queen. And, Sci-fi fans won’t want to miss out on a classical performance featuring renditions of well-known soundtracks from iconic sci-fi movies and tv shows. From Stranger Things to Avatar, the Eclective Strings will take you on an adventurous musical journey through several worlds.
Candlelight concerts at Geelong West Town Hall transform some of the greatest works of music. Sit in a welcoming environment bathed in the glow of candles, and relax whilst the talented musicians serenade you with unforgettable renditions of familiar songs.
The Candlelight series takes place twice each evening with two back-to-back 60-65 minute performances. Doors open at least 30 minutes prior to each show.
