The Atrium at Crown Melbourne will be bustling with Christmas cheer this holiday season. Get ready for an energetic Christmas show, roving entertainment, carollers, and of course, Santa Claus. The festivities will start on Thursday December 1, and continue until Christmas Eve.
Christmas at Crown Melbourne
Round up your family and friends and pop into Crown Atrium for a bit of Christmas magic. Santa will take a seat on the Christmas throne for free digital photos. There’s plenty of chances for you to get your Santa picture, as he’ll be there from 12pm to 6pm every day, from December 1 to 24. A digital copy of the photo will be sent to you straight away through text.
While you’re there, keep your eyes peeled for the special Christmas Show. This will feature 12 professional dancers, a live vocalist and a special Santa appearance. Inspired by the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, this show goes for ten minutes, and features a festive soundtrack and bright costumes. The show will take place at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm on the Grand Staircase in the Atrium. It will run from Thursday to Sunday from December 1 onwards. In the week leading up to Christmas, it will play from Monday to Saturday.
The Australian Girls’ Choir will also take to the Grand Staircase to perform some Christmas carols. They will sing for 20 minutes after each Christmas Show on Saturdays and Sundays, with the final performance on December 18.
From Thursdays to Sundays, and for the week leading up to Christmas, the Atrium will also come alive with roving performers. Have fun with face painters, balloon twisters, stilt walkers, Mrs Claus, Christmas-themed dancers, Samoyed Christmas puppies, music and more!
