If you’re looking for a heartfelt story, you can’t go wrong with watching a Pixar film. From watching Wall-E gaze up at the cosmos, to saying goodbye to Bing Bong in Inside Out, there’s always at least one scene that will just touch your soul. Remember your favourite Pixar stories, moments and characters at Colours of Pixar exhibition in Collingwood. This exhibition will open for a limited season from Wednesdays to Saturdays at Lamington Drive Gallery. It’s on from Saturday June 3 to Saturday June 24.
Colours of Pixar
Since Buzz Lightyear and Woody flew onto our screens in 1995, Pixar has created some truly iconic worlds. Whether you’ve cried with Riley from Inside Out, or you understood Joe’s struggle in Soul, there are just some moments that you can’t forget.
Seven Australian artists have created a vibrant exhibition that will share the colourful spectrum of emotions that they felt from their favourite Pixar movie. Find immersive displays, celebrating the classics like Toy Story and Monsters Inc, as well as newer films like Wall-E and Inside Out.

On Friday June 9, there will be a ‘Meet the Artists’ session. Head to the gallery and chat with creative director Giulia Giannini McGauran and artist Ellen Porteus. They’ll take questions and chat about the creative process about bringing the exhibition to life from 6pm to 7:30pm.
