Tickets for Dinos Alive are now on sale and after successful events around America and Europe, this Australian debut is not to be missed. This immersive dinosaur experience will be open from October 2023, and will transform the Fever Exhibitions Hall into a prehistoric Jungle. Come face-to-face with life-sized dinosaur animatronics, and discover the hidden secrets of the Jurassic era. Tickets are on sale now!
There is no event in history that is more sensational, and more exciting, than the time of the roaming dinosaurs. Movies like Jurassic Park, and Land Before Time (millennials will know this one) have captured our imaginations with images of dinos since childhood. It’s often hard to comprehend that these reptile-esque creatures roamed the earth for almost 140 million years. But as otherworldly as they may seem dinosaurs did exist, and now at Dinos Alive it will be as if they never left.
The exhibition features life-sized animatronics replicating various dinosaur species from the turkey-sized Velociraptors to the mighty T-Rex. While the replicas look pretty realistic they’re much friendlier than the real thing (that’s what we’ve been told…). Journey through millions of years of history as you come face to face with over 80 specimens of life-sized, moving replicas.
With the help of the latest VR technology, available as part of the VIP ticket, visitors can look forward to adventuring through the dense jungles to see dinos in their natural habitat. Or if sea creatures are more your thing, you can interact with Jurassic sea giants in a unique virtual aquarium. Dive underwater with the latest video-mapping technology, and see ancient sea creatures brought to life.
For the junior palaeontologists among us, Dinos Alive has even created a “Budding Experts” interactive space. Children will be able to tame fearsome dinosaurs and learn more about this ancient era in a fun and interactive way. Kids will definitely be able to teach their parents a thing or two afterwards!
The experience will be held in the Fever Exhibitions Hall located on Dawson Street. The venue is minutes away from Brunswick’s vibrant Sydney Road, and in front of the RMIT campus. This historically industrial area is being transformed into a world class exhibition hall that will be fully operational from September 2023.
