Ed Sheeran is landing in Melbourne in next week, bringing his Loop Tour, to Marvel Stadium for a string of massive shows on Thursday, February 26, Friday, February 27 and Saturday, February 28. The chart-topping British singer-songwriter is known for packing his setlists with a blend of old and new hits, heartfelt ballads and high-energy numbers, and fans can expect much of the same as part of the Melbourne shows. Who are Ed Sheeran’s supporting acts in Australia?
A trio of artists will warm up the crowd before Sheeran takes the stage, including Aussie singer-songwriter Vance Joy, pop artist Mia Wray and Dublin-born musician Aaron Rowe.
Doors are scheduled to open from 4pm, with support acts taking to the stage from 5:15pm. Sheeran is expected to hit the stage around 7:30pm, but arriving early is your safest bet if you don’t want to miss a moment. Missed out on tickets? You could still nab some, head here to check availability.
Getting there
The concerts are taking place at Marvel Stadium, with Southern Cross Station just a short walk from the venue. There are also a number of trams you can take that either stop at Marvel Stadium, or stop a short walk away. Public transport is strongly recommended, as large crowds are expected and parking in the precinct can be limited on event nights. Plan your journey via public transport here before heading to the show. If you do wish to park at Marvel, it is recommended that you book a spot in advance.
