Electro Merveilles, a new 360° immersive electronic music experience, will transform the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (MCEC) into a vast world of music, light, digital art and monumental projections this October.
On Thursday, 22nd October, the celebrations begin with Château Merveilles, an immersive French dinner-show at MCEC.
The following two nights, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th October 2026, will see French electronic music heavyweight Tchami and Australian dance music star Tigerlily headline two different Electro Merveilles lineups, bringing French and Australian artists together inside a fully immersive visual environment.
The concept comes from Paris-based events company Allegria and Australian producer Merveilles Productions, with the experience designed to celebrate French culture through electronic music, art and spectacle.
“We are not bringing a show to Australia—we are bringing France itself,” says Jean-Pierre Ferrand, co-founder of Allegria and creator of Merveilles. “You don’t watch France. You walk through it.”
MCEC is becoming a giant immersive dancefloor
Electro Merveilles will surround Melbourne’s dancefloor with 4,100m² of immersive visuals, combining monumental video mapping, lighting installations, scenography and live electronic music.
The production will feature two 88-metre-long walls, alongside two 34-metre walls, creating a 360° environment around the crowd. Above the dancefloor, projections will stretch 17 metres high, creating a five-storey-high world of moving imagery.
The visual journey will draw on some of France’s most recognisable settings, including the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, Paris rooftops and French gardens, with images mixed in real time around the performances.
Tchami and Tigerlily headline the French-Australian lineup
At the heart of the lineup is Tchami, the French producer associated with the global rise of future house. He is also the founder of Confession and has collaborated with artists including Lady Gaga.
Also, Australian electronic artist Tigerlily joins him across both Melbourne nights, bringing her high-energy sound to the stage.
French DJ Fred B Side will also perform both nights. Connected to the original 1990s rave movement and a resident of Paris’ Rex Club, he brings a taste of French underground club culture to the lineup.
Firstly, the opening Melbourne event on Friday, 23rd October will feature Tchami, Tigerlily and Fred B Side alongside Australian artists Alex Hosking and Tyson O’Brien. Hosking is a DJ, singer, songwriter and producer known for chart-topping collaborations, while O’Brien has established himself as one of the in-demand names on Australia’s club circuit.
Then, on Saturday, 24th October, Tchami, Tigerlily and Fred B Side will be joined by K-Vision, one of Australia’s rising electronic artists.
Known for combining house and Afro-inspired club music with live trumpet, K-Vision brings a different flavour to the second night. Both events are 18+, with tickets starting at $99.
The French celebration begins with Château Merveilles
Before the music takes over, Château Merveilles will open the wider French celebration at MCEC on Thursday, 22nd October.
The immersive dinner-show will welcome 1,000 guests for an experience combining projections, performance and a four-course gala dinner, designed to transport audiences from Paris to Versailles.
The following night, the focus shifts from the dinner table to the dancefloor, with Electro Merveilles taking over MCEC for two nights of French-inspired electronic music and visual spectacle.
Together, the events will bring French food, art, design and electronic music to Melbourne across three consecutive nights.
Across 22nd–24th October, MCEC will become the Melbourne home of a distinctly French celebration, before the wider Electro Merveilles series heads to Sydney for its open-air finale on Sunday, 25th October.
