The Exchange Hotel in Port Melbourne is returning with their lovely summer beach club. Relax on the bright, white sand and take in the views of the sparkling blue sea. Order cocktails, nibble on delicious snacks and play a round of beach volleyball with your friends. Dogs are welcome to tag along too! If this sounds like the perfect summer spot, you’ll be happy to know that the Exchange Beach Club will open tomorrow on Saturday November 6. Then, it’ll stick around until January 30.
Exchange Beach Club
There’s plenty of relaxation options available at this pop-up beach club. Will you gather with your friends around a picnic table, go solo and lie down on a day bed, or feel like a VIP by booking a cabana? Entry is completely free, however, booking in advance is recommended to secure a spot. Cabanas are suitable for two to four people, and include full table service, so you don’t have to move a muscle. While booking is free, a cabana booking requires a minimum spend on food and drinks. Meanwhile, the casual dining and day bed options are completely free and don’t need a minimum spend.
On a hot summer’s day, you’ll need an icy-cold drink to stay cool. Quench your thirst with their cocktails on tap, including Aperol Spritz and Margarita Slushies. There’s also beer, wine, seltzers, mocktails and esky packages. Then, snack on oysters, wagyu beef sliders, skewers or a refreshing salad.
Of course, they didn’t forget your dog! Treat your best friend to a peanut butter cup, doggy doughnut or doggy ice cream cone, so they can feel like a part of the action.
