Eynesbury is transforming into a delightful winter wonderland for two weeks. Travel 40 minutes to Melbourne’s west for magic shows, ice skating, workshops and more. The Eynesbury Winter Festival will take place over the school holidays, from Friday June 23 to Sunday July 9.
Eynesbury Winter Festival
The festival will kick off with celebrations from 5pm on Friday June 23. Eynesbury will transform into a Winter Village Square, where you can warm up and roast marshmallows over a firepit, or go ice skating.
Glide your way to the rink and have fun on the ice for 45 minutes. Ice skating costs $26 for adults, and $18 for children between 3 and 14. This price includes the cost of skate rentals, so you don’t have to worry about bringing a thing. There’s also skating supports and protective gear available if you’re a little wobbly.
Other events you can look forward to include winter-themed trivia nights, a night market and an ice hockey exhibition match. The kids will have plenty of fun, with cookie decorating classes, pony rides, reptile encounters, magic shows, circus performances and roaming Disney characters.
On Saturday July 1, they will celebrate the Winter Solstice with a bonfire, glow performers, fire performers, food trucks, African drummers and fireworks.
While you’re there, enjoy hearty food like wood-fired pizza from Ms Peacock Kitchen & Bar and Birdy & Co.
