A massive food and live music festival is coming to Melbourne’s west. This event will feature a stack of food trucks, showcasing cuisines from around the world. There will also be a beer garden, plenty of live music, carnival rides, fireworks and more. Flavour Fest will take place at Frontier Park in Aintree on Saturday March 2, from 12pm to 9pm.
Flavour Fest
Start the day by sinking your teeth into some delicious food. Look forward to an array of some of Melbourne’s most popular food trucks, like Hoy Pinoy, The Real Jerk Food Truck and 400 Gradi. Spice things up with Mexican food truck La Mano, and find a flavoursome blend of Japanese and Korean food at Kimu. For seafood, you can’t miss Chef Calamari. Non-profit organisation Crepes For Change will be there, serving up a range of sweet and savoury crepes that will help eliminate youth homelessness in Melbourne
Don’t forget about dessert! Wander through the Sweet Life zone, and sweeten things up with loukoumades from St. Gerry’s, gelato from Zero Gradi, Indian fusion desserts and more. Laura Foo, winner of the Great Australian Bake Off 2023, will also be there with a selection of yummy baked goods.
If you’re over 18, hop over to the Beer Garden. Discover a showcase of local boutique brewers, wine distillers and artisan spirits, including Brick Lane Brewing, ReWine, Wonki and The Prosecco Van.
Entertainment
Once you’ve had your fill of food and drink, have fun with plenty of entertainment for the whole family. The Main Stage will come alive at 3pm, with live acts from the Pierce Brothers, Steph Strings, Kitschen Boy, Mitch Santiago and D’Aarcy Spiller.
Have a blast on the carnival rides, try some craft workshops, see roving artists and take part in interactive experiences. Drift into the Woodlea Wellness Zone and feel zen with mindfulness activities.
The event will end with a grand finale, a spectacular fireworks display that will leave you feeling dazzled.
