We just love all things flowers, and if you’re looking for a sweet way to spend your day, why don’t you get a bit hands-on and pick your own flowers? Dotted around Melbourne, and further out in Victoria, you’ll find a variety of micro flower farms that are open for flower picking. This is a seasonal event, so if you’re keen on going flower picking, it’s best to book sooner, rather than later. As you are spending time outdoors, remember to wear a hat and sunscreen. Some of these farms are weather-dependent, so if you’ve got one in mind, keep an eye on their website or social media to make sure that they’re open on the day you’d like to visit.
Here’s where you can go flower picking around Melbourne and Victoria

Seasonal flowers include dahlias, sunflowers, zinnias and cosmos. Tickets are $30 per person, and the farm-gate cafe will be selling coffee, pastries and farm produce if you get hungry.
