Formula 1® and the FIA have announced the calendar for the 2027 FIA Formula One World Championship™, and if you’ve been dreaming of a chance to finally see a Grand Prix in person, this is it.
With 24 races around the world, the new season promises plenty of unforgettable moments. Bahrain will be opening the season next year at the Bahrain International Circuit. Another notable change is the return of Portugal and Türkiye as Grand Prix hosts for the first time since 2021. The return of iconic circuits is just the start. Tickets are already available for selected races, and if the record-breaking attendance of the 2026 season is anything to go by, you’ll want to secure your tickets as early as possible.

Set against Melbourne’s stunning parklands, Albert Park Circuit provides one of the faster tracks of the season. Its fast corners, high-speed sections and evolving grip levels create a challenging track for drivers, while fans can experience the atmosphere of one of the biggest events on the Australian sporting calendar.
In 2026, George Russell won the season-opening Grand Prix in Australia from pole position. The event consistently attracts large crowds and is regarded as a popular race on the calendar. Thanks to shuttle trams, getting to and from the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit on public transport couldn’t be easier.

When will the Australian Grand Prix take place?
The FORMULA 1 MOËT & CHANDON AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2027 weekend will take place from April 2 to April 4 at Albert Park Circuit.
