On Thursday 3 September 2026, Funlab’s much-loved Day of Fun is returning for its 10th year, bringing some of Melbourne’s favourite entertainment venues together for one seriously fun fundraising mission. For one day only, you’ll be able to bowl, putt, play, compete and party from just $5, with proceeds going towards headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation. That means you can finally settle the score over mini golf, challenge your friends to a bowling showdown, chase a new arcade high score or see who has what it takes to conquer a challenge room, without spending your usual night-out budget. With participating venues scattered across Melbourne and a huge range of activities to choose from, this is one city-wide celebration you’ll want to get involved in.

There’s no shortage of places to get involved, with venues across Chadstone/Malvern East, Crown Melbourne/Southbank, Eastland/Ringwood, Frankston, Glen Waverley, Highpoint/Maribyrnong, Melbourne CBD, Melbourne Central, Melbourne Docklands, Moorabbin, Point Cook and QV Melbourne. You could hit the lanes at Strike, tackle nine holes at Holey Moley, spend 30 minutes on the arcade at Archie Brothers or B. Lucky & Sons, take on a Hijinx Hotel mission, battle it out at laser tag or throw some darts. Prefer something a little more immersive? Escape rooms are $10 and karaoke is $20!

Over the past decade, Australians have helped Day of Fun raise more than $1.7 million for Headspace, and Funlab is aiming to take that total beyond $2 million in its 10th year. The 2026 fundraising target is an impressive $300,000, making this a pretty good opportunity to turn your next catch-up into something memorable. With activities priced at a fraction of what you’d normally pay, you can bring your mates, family or coworkers along for a day of games, competition and plenty of laughs while helping support young Australians!
