What’s better than one puppy? Multiple puppies! And if you’re ready to melt into a cuddle puddle, Guide Dogs Victoria is launching a Guide Dogs ‘Pup-Up’ Café for one day only! This adorable experience will celebrate International Guide Dogs Day on Wednesday April 24. Sip on your morning brew while snuggling with little Labradors. It’s all happening at the Studley Grounds Cafe in Kew.
Guide Dogs ‘Pup-Up’ Café
The Pup-Up Café will celebrate Guide Dogs and their handlers. Menu items and décor around the café will showcase all the places that they’re allowed to go. Learn about the important role that Guide Dogs play in this wholesome experience.
The day promises oodles of puppy fun, including a Puppy Meet and Greet and Cuddles with the newest Labrador litter. You’ll watch Guide Dogs Pups in training, see Ambassador Guide Dogs, and learn more with a client panel and discussion. There will also be door prizes, a competition to name your own guide dog puppy, and a fun photobooth.
This incredible event will have just one session only, from 10:30am to 12pm. You will need a ticket to enter. It costs $30 for adults, $10 for children, and entry is free for little ones between 0 and 5. There’s also a family package for $60, which includes entry for two adults and two children. All proceeds will go to a range of services and support programs, which will help Guide Dogs assist Victorians living independently with low vision and blindness.
