A kawaii cafe dedicated to Hello Kitty has come to Chadstone. This pop-up cafe is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the beloved Sanrio character. On top of the delightful food and drink, there is also a selection of limited-edition merchandise for you to check out. Due to popular demand, the Hello Kitty Cafe has extended their season, and will now stay in Melbourne until December 31. They’re open from 10am to 7pm from Monday to Wednesday, and 10am to 9pm from Thursday to Sunday.

You’ll find this sweet spot in The Social Quarter at Chadstone. Open to walk-ins only, this red and pink space seats 30 guests.
Treat yourself to an assortment of strawberry sandos, themed bento boxes, strawberry cream cake, strawberry iced matcha latte, cookies, coffee and more. There will also be a grab-and-go counter offering takeaway treats like Hello Kitty themed snacks and drinks.
Inside the cafe, you’ll also find a shop with a variety of limited-edition Hello Kitty products, such as shirts, hoodies, totes, caps, keyrings and drink bottles.

Don’t want to leave after visiting the cafe? Stay the night at Hotel Chadstone and treat yourself to their limited accommodation package. The Altus Rooftop Bar at Hotel Chadstone will also run a Hello Kitty High Tea from Friday to Sunday. Available from now until November 17, this high tea will include sweet and savoury treats inspired by Hello Kitty. Packages for this high tea starts at $85 per adult and $45 per child.
