Kingpin is about to launch its second venue in Melbourne at the newly redeveloped Collins Arcade. This $13 million destination will take over 3,500sqm of the shopping centre, serving up new and exciting attractions like an immersive batting cage for cricket and tennis, a fresh twist on shuffleboard and more. You’ll also find all the classic Kingpin experiences, like bowling, karaoke and over 90 arcade games, as well as an elevated menu. Kingpin will open to the public on Saturday January 17.

Kingpin in Collins Arcade
Step into the heritage building and descend to the lower ground floor for a whole new world of fun.
Enter the indoor batting cage, grab a real bat, and swing a real ball towards the digital screen. Choose between virtual cricket, tennis, baseball and lacrosse. The interactive screen will give you instant feedback on your speed, accuracy and performance.
Another exclusive attraction is the Supercharged Shuffle. Play on an interactive electric shuffleboard table, slide your pucks and get your score on the digital display.

Play a game of lawn bowls indoors, then test your accuracy in a digital shooting range or in a friendly game of darts. Classic bowling, table tennis and karaoke offers more time for fun, while the arcade is stacked with thrilling classics, new VR machines and more.
Scattered around the venue, you’ll also find murals created by a mix of Australian and international street artists, such as Adnate and Sofles. The hero piece is a massive portrait of Dame Edna outside the building. Other pieces provide different interpretations of Melbourne’s identity, with urban landscapes and contemporary portraits.

Food and drink
The new Kingpin has a reimagined menu, which draws inspiration from contemporary Australian fare and Mediterranean flavours. Look forward to artisan pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, live-fire charcoal grills and delicious share plates. The dishes are enhanced by fresh herbs, sustainably grown onsite on a living herb wall. Pair your meal with a cocktail or two for the perfect night out.
