A new live music venue is coming to Melbourne, just two minutes away from Arden Station. This purpose-built venue from Live Nation will fit 5,000 people, and is expected to host over 100 events each year. The space will create more performance opportunities for local and Australian artists, as well as attract international acts. The venue will be a part of the $7 billion Arden Central precinct, which is being developed by Hamton and Hostplus.

Live music venue in Arden Central
The 12 hectare Arden Central precinct will become a new neighbourhood, just 1.5 kilometres from Melbourne CBD. When it is complete, it will have over 5,400 new homes for over 10,000 people, with over 4,000 homes for first home buyers. The neighbourhood will have 5.5 hectares of open space, a retail and hospitality area, sports facilities, schools, and yes, a live music venue.
“Melbourne is one of the world’s great live music cities, and continued investment in venues is essential to attracting international artists and keeping Melbourne relevant in an increasingly competitive global environment,” said Alex Klos, President, Australia & New Zealand at Live Nation. “This purpose-built venue will add a significant new stage to Melbourne’s live music ecosystem, while helping establish Arden Central as a vibrant new destination for live entertainment.”
The venue is being designed by Blueprint Studio, Live Nation’s in-house design and development group, in collaboration with architectural design firm Populous.

According to Guy Ngata, Senior Vice President, Venue Development at Live Nation, the space will create an intimate connection between artists and fans. “A range of premium experiences, outstanding artist amenities and efficient production access have been embedded into the venue’s design,” said Ngata.
Joining Live Nation as new precinct partners are Melbourne Victory Football Club, North Melbourne Football Club and the University of Melbourne. Melbourne Victory will establish a new Arden Campus, including a Women’s Academy and a youth female pathway program.
