After a decade of spinning Australian dance music onto some of the world’s biggest stages, MaRLo is bringing ALTITUDE home for its biggest Melbourne edition yet.
ALTITUDE: The Decade will take over Flemington Racecourse on Saturday, 5th September, with a 15,000-capacity stadium tent, cutting-edge production and an all-Australian electronic music superstar on double duty.
The milestone event marks 10 years of ALTITUDE, the hard-ticket concert series founded by Australian DJ and producer MaRLo, and promises to showcase the full range of his musical identities.
MaRLo goes back-to-back with Will Sparks
The headline moment will see MaRLo team up with fellow Australian DJ and producer Will Sparks for a world-exclusive MaRLo b2b Will Sparks set.
MaRLo will also perform sets under each of his aliases—MaRLo, TECH ENERGY and V3NOM—giving fans a rare chance to experience the different sides of his sound across one massive show. TECH ENERGY draws on techno, drum and bass, bass and hardstyle, while V3NOM explores MaRLo’s harder, darker side.
The lineup also features Scottish trance and hard dance artist Will Atkinson and songwriter and vocalist Mila Josef, who has collaborated with MaRLo on tracks including Lighter Than Air and This I Vow.
A decade of ALTITUDE
MaRLo launched ALTITUDE in 2016 to create an event where he could explore the full spectrum of his sound. Since then, the concept has grown from a MaRLo-focused concert series into an international brand.
In 2024, ALTITUDE hosted its own stage at Djakarta Warehouse Project, while the brand also made its debut under the Creamfields banner at Creamfields Thailand in December 2025.
For MaRLo, the 10-year milestone represents both a look back and a reason to keep pushing forward. “In 2016 I had an idea to build an event where I could showcase the full spectrum of my sound and ALTITUDE was born. Every year, the ALTITUDE family grew stronger. Together, we broke records and tore down barriers. No one believed we could do it… But here we are. 10 years and it feels like it’s just the beginning. 10 years of music, 10 years of memories, 10 years of ALTITUDE (us).”
Two Aussie dance names come together
The Melbourne show brings together two of Australia’s most recognisable electronic stars. MaRLo has performed at festivals including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, EDC, Creamfields and A State of Trance, while his TECH ENERGY and V3NOM projects have allowed him to explore the harder edges of dance music.
Will Sparks, meanwhile, helped pioneer Melbourne Bounce and has built an international following through appearances at Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, EDC and Parookaville. He has also amassed more than 500 million Spotify streams and multiple Platinum records.
With a high capacity tent, multiple MaRLo personas and an exclusive back-to-back set on the bill, ALTITUDE: The Decade is shaping up as a rowdy homecoming for one of Australia’s biggest dance music exports.
