When you think of Marvel Stadium, the first things you might think of would be watching a game of footy, or seeing a concert. But, what about climbing up the roof, or going abseiling? That’s a part of the new attractions hub, Marvel Stadium 365, which offers visitors a bunch of cool things to do throughout the year. The roof climb will launch in late 2026, but there’s already a behind-the-scenes tour that you can check out now.

Marvel Stadium 365
If you’ve always wondered what goes on behind-the-scenes at Marvel Stadium, take part in the Marvel Stadium 365 Tour. This 75-minute experience will allow you to step beyond the boundary lines for the first time. See the player change rooms, the coaches’ briefing room and the AFL Review Centre (ARC). You’ll also walk through the over ten bespoke murals, see the two coaches’ boxes, check out the interchange benches, walk the turf and more.
The tour runs three times a day from Monday to Friday, outside of major event days. Please note that as this experience takes place inside a working stadium, the tour locations may vary depending on the venue operations that day.

Then, in late 2026, get excited for the Marvel Stadium 365 Climb. Scale the heights of the stadium in two climbs, and take in the view from the unique vantage point. Explore the roofline, and even watch a quarter of footy from up above. For an extra dose of adrenaline, you can abseil down.
“From standing in the coaches’ box and having AFL coaches speaking directly to fans, to the upcoming Marvel Stadium 365 Climb, we are taking fan engagement to new heights,” said General Manager Scott Fitzgerald.
While there’s no details yet on when exactly the roof climb will open, you can sign up to hear when it opens.
Meanwhile, tickets for the guided tour are on sale now, and cost $37.50 for adults, $25 concession and $16.50 for children aged 5 to 14.
