How does a trip to London, Paris and the Alps sound?
Step off the train at Southern Cross and be whisked away to Europe this winter. Melbourne Quarter is transforming into a European wonderland, with plenty of free food and pop-up bars available. Inspired by the Alps, Paris and London, this six-week event will take you on holiday without ever having to leave the CBD!
The Alps
Start your European holiday by travelling to the Swiss Alps. On Monday July 12, take a break from work and head to Melbourne Quarter to indulge in some free delicious Lindt chocolate truffles between 12pm and 2pm. Then, on Monday July 19, there will also be a free Swiss cheese tasting giveaway arranged by the Melbourne Swiss Club.
If drinks are more your style, on Thursday July 15 and Friday July 23, there will be a pop-up bar with traditional live music. Keep your head cool with some delicious non-alcoholic drinks for lunch, or indulge in some mulled wine martinis after work.
Paris
Butter up your Monday mornings with some delectable French treats. On Monday July 26, there will be free pastries and on Monday August 2 there will be free macarons. Both of these sweet goodies will be available between 12pm and 2pm.
Meanwhile, there will also be a Parisian cocktail event on Thursday July 29 and Friday August 6. There will be live Parisian music to set the mood and a mime to keep the good vibes going.
London
Sample some dainty mini cupcakes on Monday August 9 at Melbourne Quarter. Then, the following Monday, switch things up with some traditional scones.
For drinks, imagine yourself at an English pub and warm up with some Hot Toddys in the evening. Or, have an English Garden Mocktail at lunchtime. These drinks will be available on Thursday August 12 and Friday August 20.
