There’s a special place in heaven for the creators behind the decadent Gelato Messina. They blessed our taste buds last year with their now-legendary cookie pie. It was an indulgent pie made out of chocolate chip cookie dough and topped with a hazelnut crumble that you could warm up at home. It was just what we needed during the pandemic. Well, it’s back, and more sinful than ever before.
Gelato Messina have paired their cookie pie with cheesecake, creating a delicious hybrid of flavours called the Choc Malt Cheesecake Cookie Pie. It’s a choc malt cookie that is filled with vanilla malt cheesecake and topped with a choc malt crumble. It’s oozy, crunchy and delicious.
People went so crazy for the cookie pie last year that they’ve implemented a pre-sale system. To ensure that you don’t miss out, sign up for the pre-sale and you’ll get to order a piece of the pie on Monday June 7 at 9am. On its own, the pie is $25, but you can bundle it with one of their gelato tubs for some extra special goodness. Pick up your pie from any of the Messina stores from Friday June 11 to Sunday June 13.
