The iconic Moonlight Cinema delighted Melburnians during the summer months. But now, autumn is here, and it’s about to end soon. Originally slated to leave Melbourne on March 27, Moonlight Cinema has added five more precious nights, so you’ll have five more chances to see a movie before it goes. Now, this cinema will leave on April 2. Tickets are available now.
This outdoor cinema is ending the season with five nights of blockbuster hits. This includes a preview of action comedy, The Lost City, starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum. This film is will be released in Australian cinemas on April 14, however, you can catch a preview of it at Moonlight Cinema on April 1.
Here’s what’s playing in the extended program:
Pack up a picnic rug or a bean bag and sprawl across the lawn for a perfect night at the movies. Now that it’s autumn, you should bring a blanket for chilly nights. Avoid any pesky bugs by wearing insect repellent. Of course, you’re welcome to BYO your own food and drink, including alcohol.
However, if you forget to bring snacks, there will be a range of food and drink to purchase on site. There will also be a licenced bar.
Choose from a range of ticketing options to customise your viewing experience, from general admission with a picnic rug, to bean beds with waited service.
This is a dog-friendly experience, so you’re welcome to bring your pooch for company.
