Moonlight Cinemas Have Announced The Final Movie Schedule For This Season

City parks and gardens once again played host to moonlight movie screenings.

Moonlight Cinemas have now announced the final movie program so that we can keep on enjoying great films under the stars until the end of April.

The final program includes a number of sing-a-long nights where audiences can join in on the fun with screenings of Bohemian Rhapsody, Blues Brothers, La La Land and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

There will also be a number of film screenings of movies up for awards with The Little Things, Minari and Nomadland as well as an advanced screening of Six Minutes To Midnight. Fans of Wes Anderson will also want to get in on the fun with Isle Of Dogs, The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Fantastic Mr Fox.

There are plenty more films to see with a great mix of classics, cult favourites, films for the family and recent releases all on show until 25 April when it will pack up for another year.

Once again, BYO will be available at all venues so summer night plans will be as easy as packing your picnic rugs and throwing them open on a lush patch of lawn. Obviously, don’t forget the food. But in case you do, or you’re not one to pack ahead, Moonlight Cinemas will have food offerings to satiate your cravings.

The Platinum Experience will see couples share a premium double-bean bed and cuddle under (take home) blankets if the weather does get a little chilly. They’ll also receive a deluxe food and drinks package and the best seats in the house.

If you want your own bean bed though, you’ll move quickly and snap up a Gold Grass pass which includes a waiter so you don’t even have to move a muscle unless it’s to eat or drink. Otherwise, bean beds will be available for hire on the day for $10.
