After months of virtual tours and exhibitions, Museums Victoria are finally opening their doors and welcoming visitors from Saturday October 30 onwards. Choose between Melbourne Museum, Scienceworks and the Immigration Museum, or catch a new movie at IMAX. Tickets are on sale now.

It’s been a while since we’ve visited the museum. In case you needed reminding, here are some of the fantastic exhibits happening around their different locations.
Melbourne Museum
See Treasure of the Natural World at Melbourne Museum. Be amazed by some of the world’s biggest, rarest and oldest artefacts, straight from the Natural History Museum in London.
Scienceworks
Explore Born or Built? Our Robotic Future and navigate the blurry lines between humans and technology. Then, enjoy Planetarium Nights and journey through coral reefs, dive into black holes and marvel at the cosmos.
Immigration Museum
Experience the struggles of growing up in Becoming You: An incomplete guide. Discover precious objects from Melbourne icon Mirka Mora in Being Mirka. Or, be amazed by large-scale photographic works in Atong Atem: To Be Real. Then, see Forget the Stereotypes and hear from international students around Melbourne.
IMAX Melbourne
Circle back to Melbourne Museum and lose yourself in stunning documentaries. Or, if blockbusters are more your style, catch up with the latest Hollywood films on a massive scale.

Visitor numbers are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.
All visitors over the age of 16 must be fully vaccinated or have a valid medical exemption. Visitors will need to show their vaccination status in order to enter.
