Escape to the Peninsula Hot Springs on Thursday nights and stay cosy with their relaxing bathe-in cinema. This month, they’re putting on some delightfully timeless films to keep you company in the springs. Watch from the geothermal pools in the open-air ampitheatre, and enjoy a show on Thursday nights from 6:30pm, from now until August 25.
Bathe-in cinema at Peninsula Hot Springs
We all love a good night at the movies. But a movie date combined with hot springs is even better. Here is the schedule for this month:
- August 11 – Notting Hill (1999)
- August 18 – An Officer and a Gentleman (1982)
- August 25 – The Parent Trap (1998)
Enhance your experience and pre-order a picnic hamper for two. Prepared by the Peninsula local, Blue Mini Café, this tasty hamper includes a seasonal selection of breads, nourishing salads, vegan wraps, fruit and cheeses. Or, if you’d rather something else, try a grazing platter from the Bath House Café. This grazing platter includes a selection of cheeses, dips, olives, bread, crackers and local quince paste. Otherwise, you can also tuck into a fresh gourmet pizza from Bath House Café.
Bookings are essential. The bathe-in cinema experience is complimentary with Bath House bathing. The films will kick off from 6:30pm on Thursday nights.
