Pop over to Prahran Square this November for a mesmerising and interactive art experience. Explore a series of colourful bubble installations in the Ephemeral Collection, then have fun with live performances from The Bubble Emporium. This cheerful experience will run from November 10 to 23.
Ephemeral Collection and The Bubble Emporium at Prahran Square
In case this sounds familiar, the Ephemeral Collection by Atelier Sisu was on display in Werribee earlier this year. If you missed it, you’ll have another chance to admire this collection of enormous, 7.5-metre-tall bubbles. During the day, the surface of the bubbles reflect the light, creating colourful and shimmering reflections. At night, the installation will gently glow, and invite you to linger among the ambient soundscape. This dreamy space will light up each night until 11pm.
For five nights, Prahran Square will also host The Bubble Emporium by Homunculus Theatre. Watch as a whopping 20,000 bubbles per minute drift through the air, while enjoying music and theatre. Start things off with whimsical performances from The Golden Oldies at 6pm, followed by an outdoor dance party from The Boys in Blue at 8pm. The shows will run from November 12 to 16.
