Inside Apartment 26, guests are served oysters, French cheese and French charcuterie, as well as wines from a carefully curated French wine list. It is all a part of Melbourne’s Le Souper Club, an enchanting evening dinner party inspired by Paris and the Palace of Versailles.
Take a seat at the candlelit table for the French main course showcasing the best that French chefs have given the world and the illusion that you have travelled to Paris will be complete. It might just be for a night but as the French say, life is too short to drink bad wine.
Celebrate life at Le Souper Club. Wine and dine from $180.
The lavishly decorated Apartment 26 is hosting another round of Le Souper Club: A Journey to Paris, a food and wine tasting experience. Guests at the intimate dinner will again feast on oysters with wine-infused caviar, boards of exquisite French cheese including Delice de Bourgogne, a selection of French charcuterie and a range of sides throughout the night.
A selection of French drops have been specially chosen to complement every bite, including Clotilde Davenne Chablis, a 2018 Constance Borgone Chitry, a 2016 Grand Maison Cuvée des Archanges Monbazillac and a 2018 Clos de Gamot Cahors. A rosé will also be on offer as well as a range of wines from Bourdeaux.
And if a trip to France is not complete without visiting Champagne, then there’s also the bottle of Pommery that will be served upon your arrival.
