Feel like a fiesta? Preston Market is bringing back the colourful Latin Day Festival. Head over to this northside market and listen to live music, see rhythmic dances and feast on delicious flavours from around Latin America. The party will take place on Sunday November 9, from 8am to 3pm.
Latin Day Festival at Preston Market
Get moving and follow the sound of a music to this beloved market. Expect plenty of performances from zumba dancers, Brazilian showgirls and salsa dancers. The energetic Bandides will also bring their mix of cumbia, pop and reggae to the stage.
Arrive hungry, because you can look forward to plenty of sensational flavours and street food favourites. Sink your teeth into Brazilian BBQ from BrazOz, Colombian treats from Colombiantojos, paella and churros from Elena’s Paella and chorizo sausages from Rustic Bean. Other pop-up stalls include Mr Twistino, Ziggy’s Hot Dogs and Dubai Delights. Quench your thirst with a cocktail from Benzina Cantina.
The kids will have heaps of fun with free face painting from 10am to 1pm.
