The annual Prosecco Festival is coming back to Melbourne for its ninth year. Pop over to Abbotsford Convent and have a bubbly day out, with over 50 types of prosecco from Italian and Australian producers. Sip your way through the day with tastings, and look forward to a curated selection of food. The Prosecco Festival will take place on Saturday February 28.

More vendors will be announced closer to the festival. Throughout the day, Van Di Vino, Australia’s first mobile Prosecco and Spritz bar, will be pouring out Aperol Spritz and wines for you to enjoy.
You’ll also find alcohol-removed sparkling and wine from Edenvale Wines, craft beer from King River Brewing, and ‘pre-drink’ vitamin and rehydration products from Hydrodol.
As for the food, look forward to a mix of Italian and local favourites, with tasty bites like arrostocini, arancini, panzerotti and more. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available.
If you’d like to upgrade your experience, take part in a VIP Masterclass. In this 45-minute session, you’ll be guided by Prosecco Queen Melissa Brauer through four unique prosecco styles, paired with antipasto and cheese. VIP guests will also receive an Aperol Spritz on arrival.
Standard tickets include a Plumm tasting glass to keep, tastings of all wines, a tote bag and various freebies. Additional wines by the glass will also be available for an extra $12, and you can purchase wines to take home, or choose home delivery. Please note that this is an adults only event.
