Get in the spirit and tickle your taste buds at Tequila Week by Repeat Offender. This Elwood establishment is showcasing some of its unique backbar tequilas, for one glorious week. Try four flavour profiles, and pair your tastings with some delicious tacos. Tequila Week at Repeat Offender starts tomorrow, on Tuesday April 5, and ends on Sunday April 10.
Tequila Week at Repeat Offender
For $40 per person, you’ll taste a range of Tequila Herradura’s finest spirits. Try Blanco, Reposado, Anejo and Ultra Anejo, and discover the different distilling and ageing methods behind each drink.
“Repeat Offender has an incredible backbar of tequila, mezcal and rum,” said Eli Bury, Managing Director. “This week is all about encouraging people to have a look and see what new flavours they can try. We can’t wait to teach our loyal customers about the nuance between different kinds of tequila, as well as how to drink it like they would a hundred years ago in Mexico.”
Take the tequila tasting up a notch with a taco pairing for $60. Match the tequila with fish, pork, beef and prawn tacos. Vegan options are also available to try.
For a bit more fun and flair, try their new cocktail, the Mighty Margarita. This cocktail will have Herradura Ultra, lime, agave and vanilla bitters. During Tequila Week, there will also be daily margarita specials. Try a new flavour every day for $15.
