The ultimate Latin American festival is salsa-ing into Melbourne! On Saturday April 13 2024 Ritmo Latino will be returning to Abbots Yard to showcase the best of Latin American music, dance and food. You can look forward to an incredible lineup of live music during the festival, from samba to reggaeton and everything in between. Some highlights on the lineup include Dany Maia, playing the best Brazilian rhythms. Quarter Street who will take you back to the heart of classic salsa. As well as Calle Luna who infectious rhythms and energetic performance will have you dancing in no time!
For those who like to boogie, there will be a variety of Latin Dance Workshops throughout the day including Salsa, Bachata and Brazilian Forro. There will also be mouthwatering food stalls, so if the dance floor starts to tire you out, you can replenish your energy with Brazilian barbeque, empanadas and more.
Besides the food and entertainment, the whole venue will be transformed into a Latin American paradise, with colourful decor and impressive aesthetics. You will also be able to see Latin countries through an artistic lens thanks to the astonishing paintings and hand-crafted works from talented artists.
The festival aims to bring people together to share in the rich and vibrant traditions of Latin America. This is a chance to learn more about the culture, meet new people, and experience the energy and passion that is synonymous with the region.
With tickets starting from AU$35 you can immerse yourself in this vibrant culture. Tickets are available for two separate sessions, running from 12:00pm to 4:30pm and then again from 5:00pm to 10pm.
