English superstar Robbie Williams is heading to Flemington for Lexus Melbourne Cup Day, bringing one of pop’s biggest live acts to Melbourne on Tuesday, 3rd November.
The global music icon will headline The Elms Live Stage presented by Maccas after the final race, with racegoers set to hear some of his biggest hits, including Let Me Entertain You, Angels and She’s the One.
The performance marks Williams’ first Australian show ahead of his BRITPOP World Tour, which kicks off in Adelaide on 7th November. Best of all, the post-race performance comes included with the price of a General Admission ticket.
Robbie Williams will also take over the Mounting Yard

Just before the Lexus Melbourne Cup, he’ll perform live from the Mounting Yard as part of the Nine broadcast, building the atmosphere ahead of the arrival of the Lexus Melbourne Cup Trophy.
The VRC says Williams will deliver the biggest pre-Cup performance ever staged at Flemington, joined by a full cast of backup dancers and performing some of his biggest hits.
Moreover, Williams said he’s ready to make his return to Australia count. “Australia, I’m coming in hot. Lexus Melbourne Cup Day will be my first stop before the BRITPOP Australian Tour, and I’m ready to make it unforgettable. Expect big songs, big energy and a massive celebration after the race that stops the nation.”
VRC Chief Executive Officer Kylie Rogers said Williams’ arrival was a fitting way to mark the occasion. “Robbie Williams is a global music superstar and having him perform at Flemington for the first time is the perfect way to celebrate the prestige and significance of Lexus Melbourne Cup Day.”
Williams has sold more than 80 million records worldwide and holds the record for the most UK number one albums by a British solo artist, with 16 to his name.
The Elms Live Stage is the place to be

Located at the end of the Flemington straight, just beyond the winning post, The Elms Live Stage presented by Maccas has become an important attraction of the Melbourne Cup Carnival’s music program.
Williams will headline the stage on Lexus Melbourne Cup Day, while FISHER will take over on TAB Champions Stakes Day.
Both performances come with General Admission entry, so racegoers can catch the shows without buying a separate concert ticket.
