Pickleball. It’s one of the world’s fasted growing sports, and it combines parts of tennis, ping pong and badminton into one fun game. Instead of tennis rackets, players use paddles and a plastic ball to play on a half-size tennis court. And now, you can play a game or two in the heart of Melbourne, on a rooftop pickleball court. Play the game against dreamy skyline views, then, swing by the rooftop lounge for cocktails and bar snacks. You’ll find this rooftop pickleball court at Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street, from January 12 to 28.

If you’re not sure how to play, you can book in for sessions with a coach and learn. Or, if you’re familiar with the game, you can just jump straight in. The court is open for hotel guests only from 11am to 4pm. Then, from 4pm to 9pm, both hotel guests and the public can access the rooftop for a game. Members of the public must purchase a drink to play, and sessions last for 30 minutes.
On top of that, from Friday January 19, there will be Sunset Sessions from 5pm to 7pm, filled with music and a coach for assistance.
Check out the Monkey 47 Lounge, and try a drink from their bespoke cocktail menu.
