
Step right up! It’s time to go to the circus at State of Grace. They’re brightening up your winter weekends with their new bottomless brunch, Big Top Affair. Feast on fun bites, sip on colourful vodka sodas and get up to mischief with entertainment, like roving performers and funhouse mirrors. Sessions will run at 12pm and 3pm every Saturday this winter on the State of Grace rooftop.
Big Top Affair at State of Grace
The circus is in town, and you’re invited to join in the fun! Find a menu filled with tasty treats inspired by the Fairground. Try the Smoked Mozza Dog with persimmon and fruit ketchup, a Chicken Doughnut with pickles and fruity BBQ, a Loaded Pretzel topped with salmon and caviar and a Big Top Dog with picked fennel and mustard. For something sweet, you’ve got to try the Marshmellow with powdered sugar, and the Blackberry Pie with custard and basil. On top of that, there’s a free-flowing popcorn machine for you to snack on throughout your two-hour session.
Brunch includes sparkling, wine and beer, but if you’re looking for a dash of frivolity, opt for the vodka sodas served in teapots. They can be flavoured with specialty syrups, and one of them completely changes the colour of the drink!
Try The Magician with butterfly pea syrup or The Ringmaster with pineapple and brown sugar. Otherwise, opt for The Bearded Lady with strawberry and rosemary, or swing for The Acrobat with passionfruit and chilli.
A Magician and Bearded Lady will be roaming around for your amusement. Plus, have a go at the Spinning Wheel for your chance to win prizes. The space will also have funhouse mirrors for fabulous photo moments.
There are two sittings available each Saturday. Enjoy the circus from 12 to 2pm, or 3 to 5pm. Bookings are essential, and cost $75 per person.
