Sure, you can’t travel to Sydney right now. And our northern friends are dealing with a lockdown. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t see a part of Sydney. To bring some levity into our lives, Taronga Zoo has announced that they will bring back their super popular online TV channel. We can now watch mischievous meerkats, adorable otters and seals frolic around at the zoo from the comfort of our homes. Just in time for school holiday season.
And it’s not just animal livestreams you can be excited for. Taronga Zoo has several keeper talks, behind the scenes shenanigans and animal presentations lined up as well. These include the much-loved Seals for the Wild, Powered by Red Energy and Free Flight Birds.
“While everyone’s staying at home to keep our community safe, we are making sure that you can still get to see our incredible animals and feel connected to the fantastic work that Taronga does from your TV or tablet,” said Chief Executive of Taronga Conservation Society Australia, Cameron Kerr.
“Although we aren’t able to welcome guests to the zoo in Sydney, we’re thrilled that we have the chance to showcase all the work that goes on behind the scenes that we normally don’t get the chance to show.”
