We know it’s too early to talk about Christmas especially since the spooky season has just kicked off, but if you already have your sights set on the most wonderful time of the year, then we’ve got some happy news for your perusal. A special screening of the beloved Christmas classic The Holiday will be held at the Plenary in Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre along with a live orchestra this festive season. The Holiday in Concert will take place on Saturday December 16.
The Holiday: Live in Concert
Christmas is also the season to curl up and queue up all your favourite Christmas classics and if you love a cheesy romance, you can’t go wrong with The Holiday. In case you were wondering what an “In Concert” experience entailed, it’s when a full live orchestra performs the soundtrack of a movie as it plays on a giant screen.
This charming night of movie magic will be presented by The Southern Cross Symphony and conducted by Vanessa Scammell with the music of Hans Zimmer playing in sync with the classic rom-com. The event will run from 5pm to 7pm, on Saturday December 16. Tickets are on sale now, and you can find out more here.
